Guilt-Free Chocolate Cake (Gluten-Free, Butter-Free and Dairy-Free)

Guilt-Free Chocolate Cake -

Serve 6

What you'll need:

10 soft, fresh dates, pitted

1 ripe banana

3 eggs

4 tbsp soft coconut oil

50 ml strong coffee or fresh orange juice

1 tsp pure vanilla

50 grams of dark cocoa powder

1 tsp baking powder

65 grams of almond flour

How it's made:

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degree celcius.

2.Put the dates in a strong blender or food processor, blend them until they have the consistency of puree. Add banana, eggs, coconut oil and coffee, and blend again. Add vanilla, cocoa, baking powder and almond flour and stir everything together with a spoon.

3. Pour the batter into a cake pan (18 cm) and bake the cake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes – try to stick a toothpick in the centre of the cake, when nothing sticks on it the cake is ready – let the cake cool down.
