Mango Mint Smoothie

Just because January passed, it doesn't mean that we can't make some good cleansing smoothies any more. On the contrary, I love to make such smoothies throughout the year to keep the body nourished. By now, I have incorporated smoothies into our family daily routines. But then sometimes, as it happens, we ran out of ideas of what to blend. After browsing the Chalkboard Mag website, I discovered the Pressed Juicery’s juicing book "Juice: Recipes for Juicing, Cleansing, and Living Well", which is full of delicious and easy recipes. We tried out a few recipes and absolutely love it. Here is a treat to brighten and refreshen up your day: Mango & Mint Smoothie. Stay well, my friends!

What you'll need:

  • 1 Mango, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup of coconut water
  • 1 cup of baby spinach leaves
  • 1 small head romaine salad
  • 1 small bunch of fresh peppermint
  • 5 sprigs of fresh parsley
  • 3-4 ice cubes

How it's made:

  • Blend all ingredients in high-speed blender. I used Vitamix pro 750. If you prefer your smoothies cold, either freeze the mango in advance or add a little ice to the blender.
