Where to Stay in California - Laguna Beach House, Laguna Beach
During our short trip to Laguna Beach, we stayed at a cute little boutique hotel called Laguna Beach House. It has that Californian laid-back/surfing style in the interior design. It was very clean, comfortable, and was very helpful and friendly staff. And location wise, it was just 5 mins walk to the main Laguna Beach. I also visited the famous mysterious Pirate Tower at the Victoria Beach. After a quick research, I learned that the tower was built in 1926 as a way to get from the house down to the beach. The house, known as the "Norman House" was built for the Californian State Senator William Edward Brown and his family as a summer retreat house. Restaurants wise, we tried a few local restaurants and they were so very good. But our favorite ones are Urth Cafe, Watermarc for breakfast and Gelato Paradiso.
