Couldn’t be more excited to be back to one of my favorite cities in the world - Los Angeles, and again with HotelTonight. I often get asked how could we afford traveling so much…This is what I like to share with them. My favorite go-to travel app - HotelTonight. I have been using this app for more than one year now and it has helped us save hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars in accommodations. The app is a fantastic tool to snap the last-minute deals. You will get a chance to stay some of the most beautiful hotels in the destination of your choicer with amazing prices. For real! This is exactly what get us to stay in the Kimpton Everly Hollywood in L.A. during the weekend.

What made us to choose Kimpton Everly is simple, the unbeatable view to the Hollywood sign ( seriously!!!), the impeccable interior design, and its convenient location in West Hollywood. I came across Kimpton Everly online sometime ago and instantly was attracted by its design details. Straightaway, I added it to my HotelTonight app to watch it and hope to stay there when my next trip to L.A. comes up. That’s what I do whenever I see a hotel that I would love to stay. I type the name in the HotelTonight search bar to check if the hotel is on offer. Then I would scroll down to read the “Amenities “ to check they have the services that I want included. After that, I would check on the ratings and the reviews from the other users. Always love reading this part, because you really get a good idea about the hotel from an insider point of view, and sometime very helpful tips, such as which room has the best views, etc. If everything looks good to me, I would finally double tab the little heart on the top right corner to save the hotel to my favorites. By adding your hotel of your wish to the favorite list, the app will show it on the top of the list when they become available.

Another little tip, on your final page of booking on the app, when you see an option “Save discount for later” , make sure you tick that option to in order to have the money saved for a future booking. This again will bring down your costs of travel.

Now, back to the Kimpton Everly Hollywood. We pretty much fell in love with it from the moment we walked through that giant glass front door. The welcoming, sun-drenching lobby has a 28-foot ceilings and a glass-enclosed library. With so many comfy sofas and chairs spread around the room, we felt like we were in someone’s living room rather than a hotel lobby. Jane Q, the onsite restaurant, also impressed us with its floor-to-ceiling windows and beautiful seatings.

We decided to do an upgrade with HotelTonight this time (you can chose upgrade option on the app during booking), and it was the best decision ever. Our Everly Suite is so spacious (728 square feet!!!) and has the most amazing direct views of the Hollywood Sign, a living room with sofa seating, and a Clawfoot soaking tub with separate shower. It was so amazing to watch the Hollywood Sign lighting up by the sun in the morning from our cosy bed. And yes, their beddings are super soft and comfortable. We had wonderful sleeps at night. The hotel also has an outdoor pool and lounge area which has stunning views to the city. It is the perfect place to chill out.

The location of the hotel could not be more perfect for our trip. We wanted to hang out mainly in the West Hollywood area to enjoy the amazing cafes and restaurants nearby. Universal Studio, Warner Brothers Studios , Hollywood Sign, Griffith Park are also all a short-ride away.

It is always bittersweet when it is time to check out a wonderful hotel, as you can imagine. We would definitely go back when we visit L.A. again. On the other hand, I am also excited to see what other new and exciting hotels might show up on my HotelTonight app next time! Stay Tuned!
